The core business of our Client is to design, engineer, construct, install and deliver Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) systems, Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) systems and Single Point Mooring (SPM) systems.
Role descriptionOur Client is looking for a QA Engineer to join there team in the Head Office in the Amsterdam region. The initial contract will be a year via the payroll of SIRE, after that you will become permanent employed at our client.
ResponsibilitiesAs a QA Engineer you are responsible for implementing and monitoring Corporate and project QA aspects through providing advice and auditing. During participation in a project team you will write the Project Quality Plan and execute it. You will keep knowledge and procedures up-to-date on all relevant aspects and share this within the disciplines. On behalf of Bluewater you will be responsible for performing internal and external audits. You will report to and advise the Project Manager as well as the Section Head Quality Assurance. To tenders you will provide input and support pre-qualifications. In general, you are expected to identify quality improvement areas and provide solutions. If necessary you are willing to perform activities abroad; on site, offshore or with clients.
RequirementsAn independent and disciplined QA Engineer who is strong in planning, organizing projects and knows how to analyse different problems. Furthermore you will have:
• a Master / Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in auditing and QA environment
• experience with maintaining an ISO 9001 Compliant Management System
• knowledge of applicable standards and legislation in different counties
• ability to work with deadlines
• fluent in English, both written and verbal
